Easily readable, not to hard to connect to a cirquit.
On the net you ll find thousand connection examples.
I prefer the way LCD connects with Attiny85 with 3 pins through a 595.

An excellent value, used in number of projects with excellent results. good contrast with proper resistors, good control of back light again with proper resitors and the display looks nice!
