I love that it has USB TTL included. True plug-n-play!

A very nice microcontroller, and cheap enough to use rather than the bare ESP8266 modules. It would be nice if it came with a USB mini instead of micro connector, and would also be nice to get it without the headers soldered in. But those are minor things. This is a capable 802.11b/g/n system for under $10.

Incredible value. The USB to serial chip worked with Linux Mint without loading any new drivers. After about a hour of looking over example code I had it reading a DHT22 sensor, posting data to thingspeak and displaying the data on an oled display (i2c).

Very nice micro controller, had no problems with the USB drivers (used under Ubuntu16.04 and Windows7). I will buy more.

I took a chance on ordering with a company I didn’t know. For people who are wondering, It took 3-4 weeks but I got my 10 Amicas. I’ve tested 2 so far and they work perfectly. Very happy.

If you try to use the Amica on a breadboard you may find it crashes/restarts unpredictably. This is because the hi speed SPI pins to the flash memory are broken out. Breadboards add considerable capacitance between the SPI pins causing memory glitches. The solution is simple: cut off the header pins to CLK, CMD, SD1, SD2, SD3, RSV, RSV (these pins cannot be used anyway so you do not lose any functionality).

Apart from that quirk, the Amica is excellent value, 5 stars from me.

I got this board from Amazon. I have a problem with the USB TTY console which is never working in any baud rate no matter I install the cp2102 driver or not.

Received the box, and in 30 minutes, able to use as web server using arduino IDE. Works like a charm!
