This board is great, works out of the box, with ability to power the rails with 3.3v or 5v. The photo shown here is old, new board includes headers for both 3.3v and 5v on both sides. You can switch the power between 3.3 and 5v using the jumpers included. However you would need a type A male to male usb cable or a dc jack from a AC adapter.

Very usefull product for that price. As said in the description, it is perfectly suited for use with the dedicated breadboard. You’ll have to force a bit to let it in the first time, but it works perfectly afterwards. It allows to provide 3.3V and 5V at the same time (using easy jumpers), which is very convenient. Beware of the connectors for input power: either DC Jack or Male-A USB.

i love this unit.. i have a few now and they live on my breadboards… removes ALL the pain for supplying power to your prototype projects with the ability to supply 5v to one rail, and 3.3v to the other at the same time… very cool… fits perfectly into the board shown

This product is a must-have if you love making prototypes on your breadboard. It gives you less to worry about supplying power to your project or sensors.

Excellent design, just lovely, it has the most useful features of its kind, and very cheap, too.
The only problem is its flimsy on/off button: mine has been failing right out of the box, it’s a hit and miss to use.
Also note: pretty sensitive to the quality of the input voltage, e.g. it doesn’t power up from an old adjustable wall wart here.

Very useful power supply and looks good as well. But doesn’t fit on all breadboards.
