Fabulous Stuff REALLY FABULOUS. a thick bead of Bismuth low temp soldering paste on all the pins of a 328P-AU let me recover a ‘bricked” Pro-mini… Easily I heated the solder until it was all soft and then picked up the def IC with a pair of Tweezers. I used a Q-tip type of cotton tipped applicator to apply rosin paste flux to “Wipe” the old mixed solder free of the pins and Io had a clean fresh board to solder another 328P-AU chip to and boot-load it for use… All for $1.29 for the processor and $ 0.50 of the solder paste and about 10 minutes time.
The only reason I ‘repaired this one was the stacking headers I used to get at the controller..pins from both sides of the board..Basic building blocks…

Very good reflow. It left a little mess that was easy to clean up with a solder brush/scraper. Will buy again when I run out.

Very useful for soldering delicate components. Hope they will put it again on sale.
