For SMD soldering:
- Purpose: remove the extra solder connected several pins but not supposed to be.
- How to use: Put it on the pins in line, and heat it up, it will extract the lead from pins.

dosn’t work very well. Not enough if any flux embeded into the wick.
I used some resin with it like this one https://www.electrodragon.com/?product=best-cheap-soldering-flux-resincolophony
and then it worked great.

Works well – no different to the fake Goot wick. Needs flux, but then most inexpensive desoldering wick does and this one is definitely inexpensive!
